| STUDENTS SOCIAL WELFARE HOSTEL |

The ministry of Social Welfare, A.P. Government has established this hostel for the scheduled castes tribes and backward class students. This hostel was started in 1982 –83 educational year in our college. Students who are eligible for this can get scholarship. They also get reduction in fees and other facilities.
- They should have at least 75 % attendance in the college this facility will be immediately cancelled if he does not have minimum of 75 % attendance.
- This facility is given only to the students who are eligible in the tutorial and terminal examinations conducted in the college and also in the university examination.
- This facility will be cancelled to the students who go against the rules in the hostel.
The hostel will be maintained by student representatives. The principal will appoint a lecturers as the warden who will look after the financial matters and the discipline. Ascertaining the marks that students get, the warden will appoint students representatives with the consent of the principal. The student representatives will maintain the daily activities in the hostel.

Since the execution of disciplinary rules, the results we get, and also the introduction of P.G. Courses, it has become inevitable to start women’s Hostel. In addition to the special grant sanctioned by the U.G.C., the management has donated 10,00,000 for the construction of a new building with all the modern facilities and tight security in which 50 girl students can stay. Sri. K. Brahma Reddy, lecturer in Economics and Kum. Ch. Nagavardhini, lecturer in chemistry are acting as chief warden and warden.
